Saturday March 7th 1903 It was a bright day. I was busy all forenoon with sweeping and baking and sewed in afternoon. Will went to town in the morning with a neighbor and walked back in the afternoon to see about selling some horses. The boy went visiting down the valley. Sunday March 8th 1903 It was bright but the roads are very bad. Mollie got back before supper, she had been down town. Gordon got back too. I read and wrote what spare time I had during the day. Talked all evening. Monday March 9th 1903 It was still pleasant. I had churning to do in the evening and the housework kept me busy most of the day. The men busy about the place. Tuesday March 10th 1903 Will was down town all day. I went the folks butter he walked down. I did a little sewing and was showing Nelson some things I wanted done about the yard.
