Sunday March 29th 1903 Lee would have been 41 years old today had he lived. It was a bright day. I spent it quietly at home reading and writing when not busy with the work. Visited with Mollie all the evening. Monday March 30th 1903 I was busy with the house-work all the forenoon and sewed on my black dress in the afternoon. The boys are driving the colts and doing chores. Tuesday March 31st 1903 It was such a pleasant day I looked for Mother out but she did not come. I sewed on my dress when not busy with the housework. Will got two loads of corn from the Thompson farm. Wednesday April 1st 1903 Mother was out for the day and Mr Teller who was dehorning cattle was here for dinner. The girls brought the children and came after Mother. After school Mollie went down home to get her telescope and my yeast. Warm as summer today. Walter McGinnis began work today.
