Thursday June 4th 1903 The weather still rainy. I ironed this morning and did mending in afternoon. The boys are doing odd jobs about the place. I sewed a little. I have more chickens hatching. Friday June 5th 1903 I was busy with my chickens and the work all forenoon. Will went to town for the day. He came back with Frank when he came for Mollie. Her school was out today and she had a picnic at the school house and a very nice tome. I did the evening work and went to bed early. Saturday June 6th 1903 I did baking and got the dinner. I went as far as home with Will went he went to town in the afternoon. Mother did not feel quite so well. I think she had over-done a little. We had a pleasant visit and got the evening work done in good time. I have about 70 little chickens hatched this week.
