Tuesday July 14th 1903 I was busy with the regular work in the morning. I was down home in the afternoon. Weather pleasant. They are having papering done down home. The boys working in the hay. Wednesday July 15th 1903 I was busy with the work and cut out a dress skirt for myself. We have a young man from town helping make hay. The folks did not come out. Thursday July 16th 1903 I had churning done again today and was sewing on my dress when not busy with the work. The boys at work on the hay. Friday July 17th 1903 It rained this morning so the young man went home. There was a hard shower again in the afternoon. I finished my dress skirt today and the boys were working about the place. I was very tired and went to bed early.
