Tuesday July 21st 1903 I ironed this morning and did some baking. The boys are busy with the hay. I sewed all afternoon. Wednesday July 22nd 1903 I had bread baking and the dinner to get. I sewed all the afternoon and the men are working at the hay and shocking the oats. Weather very nice for such work. Thursday July 23rd 1903 I had churning to do and got the dinner. The two boys finished the hay in the afternoon without Wills help. He was just about tired out. This is my birthday. Will gave me $5.00. Mr [Lysince?] finished work tonight. Friday July 24th 1903 Will and I went to town this morning. I did some shopping. Father & Mother were out for dinner. The boys helped Kyles in the afternoon. I finished my dressing sacque.
