Friday February 23rd 1900 Will and I took the butter to town this morning and while he delivered that I went up to see Ott and to the Savings bank to see about the rest of the money. We are ready now to pay for the farm when the papers are ready for us. We were over home. Will went to Woolfs for his dinner. Lee is a good deal better I think. Saturday February 24th 1900 It turned cold last night and began to snow and blow and today has been the worst of the season I did the work and knit some. The boys could do nothing but feed the stock and sit by the fire. Sunday February 25th 1900 Weather a little better today. I was busy with the work most of the forenoon and read all the afternoon & evening Monday February 26th 1900 We took an early start to town this morning. We found Ott had the papers ready and we went to Howell & Wilsons office where we met Mrs Horne and by noon the matter was all fixed so we got our deed and now own 108 acres of the old Clark farm at Coralville Went over home to dinner and in the afternoon Will & Will Woolf went up to see the place. We came home in time to do the evening work. We are happy over the place
