Saturday October 12th 1901 I fixed up the butter and had a lot of house-work to do in the forenoon. Will went to town. Mr Brewer got his doors wrong so they were to change. I put in the whole afternoon showing him how to frame a closet in the new shed. Ida did not get home today Sunday October 13th 1901 I was busy all forenoon. Will and I were here alone all day. It was cold with showers of rain Mollie came back tonight. I read and wrote some Monday October 14th 1901 Ida came back this morning. We were busy with the dinner most of the forenoon. The boys began to tear down the old kitchen to fix it. Ben Fachler & Glenn Robinson are to help with the work. Mother and Bertha Williams was out in the afternoon. Tuesday October 15th 1901 We washed this morning and got the dinner. The boys are making good progress on the house. Ida and I went down town in the afternoon. Wednesday October 16th 1901 We ironed and churned this morning. Will and I went to the Barbecue up at the boat house in the afternoon. We heard tonight that John Stevensons was
