Monday March 23rd 1896 I washed out part of the clothes again that the dust blew on so bad Saturday. Seth went to the timber and Will and I after an early dinner went to town and over home awhile. Will got us a new robe for the buggy. I did the evening work and it was late when we got supper over. Tuesday March 24th 1896 I hurried around with my dinner this morning and had everything going nicely by eleven oclock when the folks from Stevens and Father & Mother came. We had a pleasant visit. After they went home I rolled up clothes ready to iron and got supper. Will and I went out to Charlie Hedges to spend the evening. a pretty moon light night. Father's birthday. Wednesday March 25th 1896 I did ironing and got early dinner. Seth went to the timber and Will and I down town after dinner. We went over to see Mollie Robinson awhile. It was late when I got supper over and evening work done. Thursday March 26th 1896 I got the work down to do a little sewing this forenoon though we had early dinner and we went down town by one oclock. I did a little shopping and then we went over to Woolfs for a call. The Stevens were all at the home place today but we did not stop there. It was late when I got my evening work done.
