Sunday August 25th 1895 I got the work done so we took a ride out east of town and got back to get dinner. In the afternoon the folks were most all out from home and other callers here after they were gone did the evening work and wrote some. Monday August 26th 1895 Will helped me wash this morning and I got the house all cleaned up by noon. I ironed in the afternoon. Frank Stevens brought Laura home. Will went to town and to the valley in the afternoon. Tuesday August 27th 1895 It was a very hot day. I put the jelly away in the morning and was done in the garden awhile. I did a little sewing in the afternoon. Will went to the fair. Wednesday August 28th 1895 I was busy about the work all forenoon as I got early dinner. We were ready to got to the fair by one oclock. Oliver went with us. I was with Ida Anderson most of the afternoon. Our folks were all there. Thursday August 29th 1895 I made plum butter in the forenoon and got the dinner. We took an early start to the fair. It was six oclock when we started home and all came together. I was with Ida Anderson most of the time. Friday August 30th 1895 I made apple jelly today and got early dinner. Will went to the fair again and Laura and I went over home and spent the afternoon with Mother. came home to do the evening work. read a little
