Saturday July 1st 1893 I was buys with my work and sewing most of the day. Jennie Woolf was here awhile. I was up town before supper and in the evening again. Will worked on the road all day. Sunday July 2nd 1893 It was very late when we got up this morning and I was busy about the house most of the forenoon. I did a little writing. We went over the river after an early dinner and Will went out to Woolfs. I helped got the supper and we did not come home till eight oclock. John went to Chicago today. Monday July 3rd 1893 I washed this forenoon and did churning up. After dinner Mother and Josie came over. I went up to the bakery and market for things for tomorrow. Mother and I called to see Jane Sanders. I went up to the post office before supper to write to the girls. Mollie & Lib Stevens come at six oclock. and were here for supper and stayed till George come after the at ten oclock. They had a great time in Chicago. was very glad the went Tuesday July 4th 1893 I walked over home at ten oclock this morning and about noon a few folks came and we had
