Wednesday August 30th 1893 Will and I went over home as soon as we had breakfast to get some corn to dry. I boiled and cut in of before I brought it home with Charlie in Ott buggy. I dried it in the afternoon and peeled sweet apples that Mary & Jennie brought me. Mrs Moore made me a long call & put up one jar of apples when I was getting supper. Thursday August 31st 1893 I finished putting up my apples in the forenoon and cleaned out some cupboards. Will did not feel able to work till in the afternoon. I went up town in the afternoon to see about some curtains. Will and I went over home after supper and brought over three chickens. The girls had gone to a picnic. Friday September 1st 1893 It was cool this morning. After I got my work done I did some sewing. Mother & Fanny were here awhile. Will finished digging potatoes. He helped me in the afternoon. we fixed window curtains. Saturday September 2nd {1893} Will helped me finish the curtains in the forenoon. I was up town in the afternoon and got new ones for the kitchen. I did some sewing in the afternoon. Hattie & Edith were here in the evening and Laura got back from the valley.
