Wednesday February 28th 1894 We went at it in earnest this morning. It was threatening rain, but it did not come. They loaded three waggons: our own, Will Woolfs, and one of Harry Brooke. Josie and I came in the buggy with a lot of little things. It was twelve oclock when we got here. The boys put up a stove and we soon had dinner. They went back after two more loads and us girls cleaned up the kitchen some and put up a couple of beds. It was late when the boys got back but they put up a stove in the sitting and we all sat down and rested awhile. We feel we are getting out in good time for the roads are getting very bad. Thursday March 1st 1894 The boys went in the morning to take back Will Woolfs team and get the things from over home with ours. I was busy unpacking dishes and putting some things in order while Josie washed up the floors. The boys went back in the afternoon for things at the barn and us girls were busy about the place. I believe I am going to like it here very well and the house will be very pleasant when once cleaned and furnished. We took a bath and went to bed early.
