Saturday May 26th 1894 I did part of my work this morning and Will and I went to the valley for some eggs to set, but did not get them. I got dinner after I came back and we went to town. Was out to Woolfs and I stopped at home and stayed till Will come after me. Fanny does not feel so well today. I did my evening work and read some. Sunday May 27th 1894 We were about the house all day. I had some chickens hatching. We read some in the afternoon. There was a strong wind blowing . We had early supper and Will got his chores done so we drove down in the evening to see the baby. It was chilly and cold for the time of year. Monday May 28th 1894 The boys went to the valley to make fence. I got the work done, set a couple of hens and looked after the chickens. I put up our dinner and took it down so we all ate together. I went on up to Aunt Ems for some seed sweet corn. I did not stay away late. I took care of the chickens and did some other things before the boys came home. Tuesday May 29th 1894 I hurried things with my work and fixed dinner to take to the valley to the boys. After
