21st Thursday February 15th 1872 The boys went to the valley witih Charlie I went to school it was real pleasant today. had a real full school today We rehearsed after school they do so much better The committees put up the stage and curtains tonight I did not stay to see how it looked Mrs Middleton and Emma was over here all day. writing this evening. I dident get a Valentine Friday February 16th 1872 Taught this forenoon and rehearsed all the afternoon got home about four oclock Mother had supper nearly ready Cousin Ira came up but John did not Mary Johnson and Aunty Ogden was here for supper Mrs Middleton Emma and Mr H_ came over to go to the exhibition. Charlie went after Flo. The exhibition was (every one said) a perfect success got through in good season. Had lots of fun after we went home Flo Ira and Aunty stayed all night Mr H_ went home with Mrs Middleton and Emma Mr H_ gave me a lot of butter scotch and oranges The weather was as good as we could ask for Father got home today
