34th Sunday March 10th 1872 Mother Father Hatt and Lee went up to Aunty Walkers today. The weather was as good as could be expecetd for this time of the year March is a disagreeable month I think. Mr Huebner was here this evening we did not go to church About eight oclock we had supper. I wrote a letter to cousin Vene Mason. Monday March 11th 1872 Helped do the work this morning Oh how I wanted to go to school I thought I would be so glad. But I believe I am sorry. Mother and Father went to town in the sleigh this morning and brought Grandma Lucas home with them I cut out three shirts today to make for Father. In the afternoon I went over to town When I was into Mr Kovners Mr H_ came in there I went into his store he gave me a box of candy while I was in there Miss Hueston came in she did not appear to see me. got home in very good season They took Grandma Lucas home this evening I had a letter from Cousin Jennie today such a jolly good letter it made me wish I was back there again I was tired and went to bed early
