67th Friday, May 31st 1872 Helped do the work this morning ironed some to, while Mother was getting things ready for dinner I wrote a letter to Pete. It rained some early in the afternoon I sewed a couple of strips of carpet together to be put down up stairs. Dressed before supper and did up the work all alone had only just finished when Mr Huebner came it looked like rain and my throat was hurting me considerable so we did not attend society. Saturday June 1st 1872 It was raining this morning and it was terrible late when we got up I swept the house and did all the cleaning up I sewed a little this afternoon. Had a note from Mr Huebner which I answered. A year ago today I attended a picnic with Pete. Sunday, June 2nd 1872 Wrote to Arth in the morning and helped about getting the dinner Mr Huebner came over pretty early and it seemed so muddy and dark that we did not attend church I got the supper all alone tonight.
