94th waiting at the depot and went down town and put it in the office When we arrived at Delavan we found Jennie and Ira waiting at the depot I felt very tired tonight and went to bed early. Thursday August 22nd 1872. I did not feel very well today. Venie and May washed some in the forenoon and did the ironing in the afternoon We had an early supper and then all went out riding stopped at the ice-cream rooms had a very pleasant time. We did not go to bed long for Mort and May were going away in the mid-night train We all went to the depot and saw them start. When we got home felt tired enough to go to bed. Wrote to Hatt. Friday August 23rd 1872 I did not feel very well in the forenoon in the afternoon Ettie and I dressed and went down town with Ira in the buggy. We walked over to the depot and spent a half hour very pleasantly with Friend Tom took him some peaches found him as good natured as usual After an early supper we started out
