99th me a new veil and some embroidery cotton Ett and I got an early supper and then went down town I had a letter from Mr Huebner and a letter from Hatt and Rob I wrote some to Mr H_ this evening will finish in the morning Weather still cool Friday August 30th 1872 We washed some this morning I finished my letter and sent it down town In the afternoon Vene and I ironed and Ett went down to the depot to meet Maggie Templeton who came from Normal I went to bed early for I was tired. Saturday August 31st 1872 We did up the work this forenoon and after dinner we dressed and went to church It was a lovely afternoon Ett and Maggie staid down and went to Esthers for supper We came home and after supper Ira took Jen and I back down town and we rode around town till about nine oclock. Sunday September 1st 1872. Most all of us went to church this morning came home and had dinner Tommy was out in the afternoon, Ett and I took a ride down town. In the evening we all went to church again. I wrote to Hatt in the afternoon
