117th Friday November 1st 1872. I was busy sewing all day made myself two chemise and almost finished a night dress Mother went over to Fletchers awhile it rained just before night. They got the quilt out. I had a letter from Venie. Saturday November 2nd 1872. I sewed all day and all the evening. Mother went to town in the afternoon I had a letter from Mr Huebner and wrote him a few lines. Sunday November 3rd 1872. Mother and Lee went to the valley with E.B. Moore and wife I did the work and Hattie went over to Winnie's awhile She was here for dinner. Just about noon Ichabod died We all felt so badly In the evening I wrote to Bertie, Vene and Mr Huebner. pleasant day. Monday November 4th 1872. It rained all day. I made Hattie a dark calico dress. in the evening I knit. We buried Ichabod this morning, Tuesday November 5th 1872. Still cloudy, I worked in the carpet rags all the forenoon. In the afternoon washed. Mother went to town, had a letter from Mr Huebner
