118th Wednesday November 6th 1872. I sewed all day on Mothers clothes In the afternoon I recieved a note from Mr Nichols asking me to attend a social hop to be given in the country I went had only a tolerable time, did not get home till two oclock. It was dark and fearfully muddy. Had a letter from Mr Huebner today Thursday November 7th 1872. I felt horribly this morning but I did the ironing, I had a letter from Cousin Ira and wrote one to Mr Huebner In the afternoon Uncle and Aunty were here. I was sewing Father got home from Chicago. Friday November 8th 1872 I helped do the work this morning Grand ma Grand pa, and Aunt Mary were here. As soon as I had my dinner I went to town. Father gave me five dollars I got me a sachel a pair of overshoes and some notions, I invited a few friends over to play euchre tomorrow night. This has been a pleasant day had a note from Mr Stapleton asking me to teach their school.
