138th Thursday January 9th 1873 It was very cold today but Father took me out to school this morning and Charlie came after me. in the evening I sewed for myself. Friday January 10th 1873 Father took me out to school this morning and came after me. in the evening I sewed. Winnie was over this afternoon. Saturday January 11th 1873 I taught today to make up for losing Wednesday I rode out in the morning with Rob and came in with Mr Stevens I sewed till late at night. Sunday January 12th 1873 It thawed all day the sleighing is almost spoiled Cecil Pursell and Winnie Given were here for dinner today I had two letters from Mr Huebner I wrote to him and also to Bertie and Lillie. Monday January 13th 1873 I rode out to school with Charlie this morning I rode home with a man coming along the road I met them just starting for me no letters today
