144th Monday February 3rd 1873 Went to school today. When I came home Mother was at McSparens and came home with us. I had a very very interesting letter from Mr H_. I did so want to write to him tonight but I got at work fixing up a pair of shoes and stocking to give to a little boy at school which took me till real late. Tuesday February 4th 1873 Went to school today. In the eve When Charlie came out after me at night Mother and Mrs Middleton came with him. I wrote a letter to Mr Huebner and sent it to the office by Lee after I came home. I sewed all the evening; and, Mrs Middleton stayed all night. Had a letter from J.J. Wednesday February 5th 1873 Went to school today. Mother was to town this afternoon. in the evening they were all out sleigh riding but Rob and I. I sewed all the evening Thursday February 6th 1873 Went to school today. When I came home found a letter here from Bertie and Lillie and Lillie sent me a lock
