155th it was so very pleasant I took a walk all around town stopped several places. Took supper at the Pinney house and did not get home till almost dark Hattie went over to stay all night with Winnie. I wrote a short letter to Venie and went to bed early. Monday March 17th 1873 I walked to school and Lee came after me in the evening. I had a letter form Cousin Ira. I sewed till quite late. Tuesday March 18th 1873 It rained last night so it was real muddy and Lee and I both went to school on the horse. I rode back at night and he walked. Mother went to town and had not got home yet. I ironed some before night, sewed some and wrote a little after night. had a letter from Mr Huebner. Jim F_ spent the evening here. Wednesday March 19th 1873 I walked to school and rode home. I wrote a letter to Mr Huebner today at school When I came home I found Grand-ma and Grand-pa here going to stay all night I had a letter from Mr Huebner with a
