189th Monday August 4th 1873. Hattie and I did a very large washing today. in the afternoon I wrote a letter to Winnie and went to town. When I came home supper was ready I rolled up the clothes and went to bed. Tuesday August 5th 1873 We ironed till noon today and did not finish. After dinner I went out to Mrs Dennisons and did not come home till evening. I had a letter from Mr Huebner, a letter from Winn. Wednesday August 6th 1873 I finished the ironing this morning and then sat down to mend stockings. Mother started visiting but Stevens family and came back they stayed all day. Weather warm.
