Friday November 6th 1874. To school again today. A very pleasant day. I sewed a little in the evening. I had a letter from Charlie and one from Mother and Rob. Saturday November 7th 1874. I did not feel very well today. But sewed most of the day and knit in the evening. Sunday November 8th 1874. I did not go to school this morning. But wrote to Mother and Rob. After dinner Ira took us girls for a ride we went out east of town and did not get home till night. In the evening I wrote to Charlie. A splendid day. Monday November 9th 1874 We got the washing nearly done before I went to school. I sewed some in the evening after I came home, and ironed a little. Tuesday November 10th 1874. To school again today. In the afternoon I had a letter from Charlie and a present of a pair of patent garters. I sewed all the evening. Wednesday November 11th 1874. To school today. I wrote a letter to Lee today and had one from Charlie and a note from Owen Spent the evening at Houghtons with the folks.
