Burr oak place Iowa November, FRIDAY, 6, 1863. Benjamin Sharp Came up to John Durnos this eveng and I went with Colts & got plow & we struck out a Land to plow on our place. John Durno Board's Ben untill we move on to farm SATURDAY, 7. Ben is plowing, He Commenced Boarding with John Durno, Bought a plow of George Henderson for $6.00 paable in one year I made arangements with Mrs Dobson about fences SUNDAY, 8. James & Alick Henderson Elsie & children Came up to Johns also W. I. Chase stoped for Dinner and then went down to Father got a note from David
