10 Benton Barracks Mo Nov 17th 1864 Thursday I wrote letters today to Father & Mother 1 to Miss A. Kerr 1 to D.B. Henderson 1 to Mr. Durno Ill 1 As our Rations are Rather small in quantity & indiferent in quality I & Mr Hutchins got some Meals at the Eating Houses of the Camp. and very good fare we had for 50 cts per meal
