18 Steamer Silver Cloud Nov 25th. 1864 Friday This Boat is very much crowded with two Regts. on board. Much floating ice on the River. and get along Slowly. passed the Steamer Ewing [Stuck?] on a Bar & Loaded with Soldiers in 7 feet of water., The mail Packet Graham was taking off the men & Cargo. Mr Hutchins & I have very good quarters on the wood rack on Boiler deck Exchanged photographs with Will Hutchins, [Conner?], Baker of Co. "C"
