Durno Both Contained my Photograph taken with Scotch Cap on in St Louis, Spent the Better of Day Reading the New York Independent Christian Observer and Kindred papers Recd from Christian Commission of St. Louis. Read Henry Ward Beecher's Sermon on the two platforms, Delivered before the Election Oct 31st / 64 a very good & able production on the Issues of the day
