Transport Silver Cloud Cairo Ill Nov 27th, 1864 Sunday arrived at Cairo this morning at 9 A. M., thre days from St. Louis as we tied up every night on account of low waters. I Received three letters from Jane, and wrote a Reply and mailed it Here sending David Conner's Photograph Home in it. I saw Jamie Henderson to day in this place and payed Him the $5,00 I Borrowed of Him at Harrisonville. He visited with me on Boat
