Transport Silver Cloud Paducah Paducah Kty Nov 28th. 1864 Monday Left Cairo Ill. this morning by daylight, and Reached Paducah Kentucky at noon where we found Lt Col Stibbs with our Convalescents & Camp & Garrison Equipage Knapsacks &c, My Knapsack & contents are all right But I have on my Hands twice the Amt of Clothing needed by reason of our long absence from our Camp & things. left Paducah at 3 p.m. for Nashville Tenn. Stoped at Smithland Ky all night
