31 Defences of Nashville Tenn Dec 8th. 1864 Thursday Wrote a letter to Mrs Henderson. Maj. Gen Thomas Issued an order Revoking the muster out of the 12th. Iowa Officers if they were still Here, But fortunately for Them & us. they had gone Home allready. I made out various Company Reports today The monthly for Nov. for the 3d Quarter of 64, & found the annual Report of the rations for 1862
