34 Defences of Nashville Tenn. Dec 11th. 1864 Sunday The weather is intensely Cold Hard frost & High winds, Fire wood scarce. Had a visit from J. Henderson. He has been in Hospital in the City since His arrival. Better now & on duty again. Had a letter from Mrs. Henderson. My last Remittance of money arrived safe. Family Comfortably fixed up for winter, Recd a letter from G.L. Durno all well Recd my Photograph.
