37 Defences of Nashville Tenn Dec 14th. 1864 Wensday Wrote a letter to Mrs. C J. Henderson this afternoon. Bot two papers the Fairsvill Journal had the Presidents Message which I read & liked it well, especaly with regard to encouraging the People to take Stock in U.S. Securities, +&with Regard to suppression of the Slave trade &c. Recd orders to march tomorrow morning at 6 oclock.
