39 Battle of Nashville Tenn Dec 16th. 1864 Friday The Battle Continued with unabated fury to day, the 4th. Corps on the left, the 16" Corps in the Centre & the 23d Corps on the right. advanced & ocuped the first line with our Skirmishers in forenoon, Co. C. as skirmishers. the entire 16th Corps Charged at 3 P.M. Capturing the entire line of main works Batteries & all our Brigade took 4 guns & many Prisoners. two of C were severely wounded (David Connor & G.A. Burroughs) in the final Charge. Great Victory
