63 I went to the Camp of the 2d Division this afternoon and saw Jamie Henderson He still stands the severities of the Campaign finely. I left with Him a paper with Humphreys Report of Nashville Battles William Jordan who is now in our mess, went out and brought in a fine fat young sheep, and we have very high rich living as far as meat is Concerned. The weather is very Cold with hard frosts every night. the Capture of Savannah by Sherman is Reported
