65 to Florence Westward from Pulaski 45 miles distant on the Tennessee River, the 4th Corps toook the Huntsville Pike following the Two Corps of Stewart & Lee, While Cheatams Corps Retreated on this road. Went into Camp 9 miles west of Pulaski, after a march of 13 miles. Citizens Represent the Enemy as being badly Demoralised on their Retreat. The gun Boats are interfering with River passage of the Tennessee River at Florence
