67 We marched through rain & mud all day & Camped near Elk River 3 miles west of Lawrenceburg. This is a very fine District of Country being settled mostly by Farmers of moderate means, and the vallyes have been well Cultivated previous to the outbreak of war, Frank Comstock Reported for Duty, He has been at Home on Furlough for 3 months, He brought me 12 Photograps of mine from D.B.H.
