104 in line of Battle before Hood. The only excuse that they gave was that their Commanding Officer Col Stibbs had set up a Military Dictatorship in the Regt. They Claimed also that all the men Justified them in their Conduct. Those reasons May be satisfactory to them But will never Clear them in my estimation and the estimation of the Army, I May add that It will hurt them at Home.
