109 In Camp Eastport Miss Jan 8th 1865 Sunday Very pleasant day for winter, Chaplin Humphrey preached for Regt. at 10 A.M. Mr. Jordan went out this morning in order to Replenish our Larder, and brought 30 lbs in two large Hams, 10 lbs of flour, 6 lbs of stuffed sausage, 2 lbs Dried beef, one bake kettle & one good ax. all of which articles is very much needed in our present destitute condition .
