127 Eastport Miss Jan 21st 1865 Saturday I have now some time to Read, We have a very fine Collection of Books for the situation we are in Goldsmiths poetical works, Napoleon & His Marshals, St Ronans well by Scott, Fowles, self Instructor, Moors Poetical works, and other good books of leser note. Wrote a letter to G.L. Henderson, and wrote to Adams Express Co. at Nashville to send me a box sent there by [Jan?]
