128 Eastport Miss Jan 22nd 1865 Sunday Had Regular Sunday morning inspection of arms & accutrements which was in tolerable condition 19 present at inspection 8 men on Fatigue 3 Do on Picket 4 " Sick in quarters 3 " Daily Duty 37 Total in Camp Had Dress parade on saturday the first time for months Major Knee presiding, a very Complimentary order was Read to us for gallantry &c by order of Gen Thomas
