145 Ohio River Feby 8th, 1865 Wedensday Arrived at Paducah Kentucky early this morning where we lay 1/2 an hour, and arrived at Cairo at Noon where we had to wait for the fleet with the rest of 16" Corps I mailed a letter to Mrs. Henderson from this place, 43 more Drafted men were assgned to our Regt. & waiting for us here
