147 Mississippi River Feby 10" 1865 Friday Sailed from Cairo this morning at day light for Memphis, Magenta & [Dieaden?] the Hd Qr Boat hitched together & making very fast time. 11 Eleven of those Drafted men were assigned to Co C to day making a n aggregate of 64 men. Lt Reed mustered as Captain to Rank from Feby 6th. 1865. I am very unwell today of bowel Complaint
