150 Miss River Vicksburg Feby 13th 1865 Monday We Reached vicksburg this afternoon making a very rappid trip from Memphis, I made out Clothing Receipt Rolls for Feby with the assistance of Sergt Hutchins, also transfered Jan Clothing Acct to Book from the Receipt Roll for that month, One of the Batteries at Vicksburg fired a salute to McAuther of our Div in Honor of His former Command at this place Weather still milder.
