153 Vicksburg Miss Feby 16th 1865 Thursday I with Jas Morgan of K. Co & Capt Reaed went down to Vicksburg for the purpose of getting mustered in as 1st Lient Co. "C". Head Quarters was being moved from Boat to the City & did not get Liet Meagher M.O. in His office notwithstanding His promise to meet us at 4 P.M. I looked over the City in Company with Morgan of K. Stoped with Baker to night.
