155 James Morgan of Co. K 12th Iowa was Mustered with me to Rank &c the same as me. He is one of the 1st Orderlies of the Regt, having served as orderly for over 3 years with Co K. Him & I are the onely Lieutenants in the Regt at this time. although more Commissions are expected soon from Iowa. Capt Reed of Co. C. is acting Major of Regt, I am still in Comd. of Co & Sergt Hutchins Copy orderly
