172 New Orleans Louisana Feby 24" 1865 Friday I went to the City this forenoon for the purpose of getting paid on Discharge & find statement My Clothing Account over run $30 and $25 of the last instalement of Bounty is forfeit by an Order from war Dept by all vetterans who are promoted within 2 years of Re enlistment, so that the 30 & 25 Dollars taken from 3 months pay & instalment of Bounty leaves me $70, 99/100 Recd,
