199 on landing I met Lieut Drumond of McGregor now of the 21st Iowa Infty who greeted me very Cordialy & introduced me several of His friends of the 21st & invited me to His quarters &c. I also saw George Moore on old acquaintance on Henderson prairie now of the 21st Iowa. pitched our Camp on the beach and Retired early as our passage on the lakes & gulf had made us some what sleepy & dull
