209 Dauphin Island March 14th 1865 Tuesday Mail to day again I Recd a letter from Jane. and one letter from D.B. Henderson Containing $20 Bill sent at my Request as loan. Heavy rain all day & I was Confined to Tent but passed the time pleasantly reading the Phrenological annual for 1865 & other papers Mr Jordan of Co. "C" Caught some fish & Lobsters with Seine in the Coves
